A Violence and Gentleness of Wind is a booklet written by Elifete Paz and published by Los Sumergidos, a book publisher led by the photographers Carlos Loret de Mola (CLDM) and Alejandro Cartagena. The booklet features work from Juan Madrid, Alyssa Chandelle, RayTing Liang, and Juanita Campos, the writer’s late grandmother, and is an accompaniment to Los Sumergidos (2018), the eponymous first title from the publisher.
